#40 Answers Twitter Campaign is Back!
For the second year, HPO is partnering with Sigma Nu Fraternity on the #40 Answers campaign. Starting August 10th, and everyday for 40 days leading up to NHPW, @preventhazing will post a common hazing excuse everyday and use crowdsourcing through Twitter to invite individuals and organizations to offer answers for each excuse using the hashtag #40Answers. Follow PreventHazing on Twitter today to join in on the conversation.
HPO Launches New Website
HazingPrevention.Org launches the new academic year with a new-and-improved website. Designed and hosted by Group Interactive Networks, the new site is designed to be more interactive and current, offer more information and do it all in a better graphic format than the current site. The website should also engage a broader audience than the traditional Greek segment – students, athletes, parents, athletic directors and coaches, teachers, advisors, journalists, and others seeking information about the issue. Watch for our new site to launch at the beginning of September - just in time for National Hazing Prevention Week!
HPO Seeking Fall Intern
Do you know a student - undergraduate or grad - who has a passion for hazing prevention? HPO is seeking an intern for three months starting in September and extending through early December. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills (both written and oral), the ability to work independently, an interest in student affairs, non-profit management, marketing or business, strong leadership and organizational skills.
